Authority of Jesus Christ

Understand that Jesus Christ has ABSOLUTE AND SUPREME AUTHORITY over all Creation. The word "authority" in the Greek language is the word "exousia" and means "legal authority to rule."

It is a legal term. In other words Jesus Christ has the legal authority to rule over all the universe, not only as Creator of all creation, but as Redeemer and Savior of all Creation.

The whole creation "groans and moans" for His Return to bring to complete perfection His Redemption.

[Romans 8:22 ²² We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.]

AUTHORITY-(exousia) legal authority and absolute and unrestricted right to act-(exesti and exousia combine the two ideas of right and might; POWER-(dunamis) Power and Might-where we get the word dynamite-supernatural power.

So we see Jesus Christ has both the RIGHT and MIGHT to RULE as CREATOR, REDEEMER-SAVIOR, JUDGE AND KING.

Mat 28:18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Mat 28:19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very ] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Throughout the New Testament Christ's authority is preeminent:

• Over nature-time and space
• Over sin
• Over Satan
• Over the World System
• Over disease
• Over death
• Over temptation
• Over problems
• Over the past
• Over the future
• Over curses
• Over demons
• Over all circumstances
• Over threats
• Over fear and terror
• Over finances 
• Over hate and prejudice

Nothing absolutely Nothing is Impossible in the Name of JESUS

It is very very powerful to make declarations of  Who Christ is and Who we are in Christ. Two of the most important words ever spoken and understood are "IN CHRIST" ... for when the Father looks at us He sees His Son; so that everything we are and what happened in the past and what happens in the future takes place because we are "IN CHRIST"

I will give a scripture then you will make an audible-Let me say that again: you will make an AUDIBLE DECLARATION (we want to fill the universe with the sound waves because Satan and his demons hear it and tremble) in AFFIRMATION of that scripture.

This is so very very powerful as it becomes firmly established in your spirit; Who Christ is and Who you are "IN HIM." I will color the DECLARATION so it is easy to see.

Matthew 28:18 ¹⁸ Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Make the following Declarations:

Oh Jesus You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. I proclaim in faith and power that all authority is in Your Hands; that is all the RIGHT and MIGHT in heaven and on earth is bestowed upon you alone: Authority over all things visible and invisible; all circumstances in life; and absolutely nothing catches you by surprise and surely NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU!!!

[Colossians 1:15-17  He is the image (the exact visible tangible incarnate representation) of the invisible God, the firstborn (absolute preeminence) over all creation. ¹⁶ For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. ¹⁷ He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.] 

[Colossians 2:9-10 ⁹ For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, ¹⁰ and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.] Make the following Declarations:

Jesus I proclaim with Power that Your are the Son of God Who came in the Flesh;  the Creator of this vast universe and every single thing and creature in it including angels and demons so you are the King of the universe.

I proclaim and I purpose to see Your Hand in everything that is good because You are Good and Perfect and Wise and Righteous;  You hold every thing together so it doesn't fall apart-including my life.

I proclaim that it is in You that I live and move and have my being and that this is a Christ Centered Universe; everything, including me waits in joyful anticipation of Your Coming Sweet Jesus.

[Isaiah 61:1-3 ^NIV Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, {1 Hebrew; Septuagint the blind} ² to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, ³ and provide for those who grieve in Zion-- to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.]  Make the following Declarations:

Jesus my Savior and Lord, I proclaim you as the promised Messiah-The Anointed one. You alone are the "good news" that I accept, and in faith know that You Alone have the Power to deliver me from any circumstance and release me from any bondage I might be in.

You alone are the LIGHT of the world that shines that glorious radiance to dispel any darkness in my soul.  I proclaim that you have come to bind up and to perfectly heal my broken heart; to pour your wondrous anointing oil of the Holy Spirit to change my grief to gladness; to crown me with wondrous beauty and to clothe me in the royal wardrobe of PRAISE AND WORSHIP...

I was made to Praise and Worship you my KING-and I WILL.

[Acts 4:12 ¹² Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."]   Make the following Declarations:

Oh Father, The world system has presented me with many ways and paths to follow, but I Declare from the bottom of my heart that Salvation is found in no one else;  not Buddha, not Christna, not Mohammed, not Confucius, not Mysticism, not the Masonic Lodge, not some secret society, not any good works nor any other man-made demoniacally inspired system...

Total and complete salvation is found in ONE NAME; the NAME that is above every name-JESUS CHRIST...

At the NAME of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST IS THE LORD OF lords and THE KING OF KINGS-And this to the GLORY OF THE FATHER---HALLELUJAH TO THE KING

[1 Peter 2:24-25 ²⁴ He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. ²⁵ For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.] Make the following DECLARATIONS:

My precious Jesus, Lord and Savior, I proclaim that because of your unfathomable love for me, you died a most horrifying, excruciatingly painful death on a tree outside the gates of your own city-Jerusalem.

I realize that the shedding of your most perfect and divine blood was the only way to reconcile my imperfect state to a perfect and holy God.

It was because of your precious wounds that enabled me  to be healed in body, soul and spirit, while empowering me to die to the dominating effect of sin on my life with the freedom to live for righteousness. 

I will be eternally grateful that you hunted me down and applied your cleansing blood into my sin sick life; You set me on the road of righteousness.

I have joyfully returned to the True Shepard and Overseer of my soul. Hallelujah to the Highest, oh, lover of my soul.
